This game was released in 31st March 2015 for other platform and is scheduled for release for PS3 PS4 and XBOX .Axiom Verge is a side scroller action adventure game. The game focuses on exploration and action. It features over 60 items and power ups. The element of the game play are borrowed from classic games such as Metroid, Contra , Blaster Master and Bionic Commando.It was an independent project of engineer Tom Happ. He worked on games like End of Nations.

Though the game received critical acclaim on release it was praised particularly directed to its setting weapons , boss battles,control,upgrades and secrets featured. Jeff Gerstmann gave the game a perfect score , he praisedthe huge variety of weapons and rewarding and worthwhile upgrades. He also praised the game for encouraging players to reach 100% completion.
